Welcome to the Kodi Poster documentation hub.
This documentation will help you configure and use Kodi Poster to its full potential — including how to connect your WordPress site to various external platforms, set recovery options, and troubleshoot common issues.
📌 Getting Started
✅ Installation & Activation Guide
- Go to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
- Navigate to Plugins → Add New.
- Search for Kodi Poster.
- Click Install Now, then Activate.
- After activation, go to Settings → Kodi Poster to begin setup.
Alternatively, you can upload the plugin ZIP via the “Upload Plugin” option.
⚙️ Plugin Settings Overview
The Kodi Poster settings page is divided into several sections:
- General Settings: Choose which post types to process, and enable/disable each integration.
- Schedule Settings: Set how often the plugin checks for missed or new posts.
- Platform Integrations: Enter API tokens, App IDs, and other credentials per platform.
- Logs: View recent activity, status messages, and any errors for debugging.
Changes are saved automatically or via the Save Changes button at the bottom.
🔄 How Missed Post Recovery Works
Kodi Poster monitors your scheduled posts and checks if any have been missed due to a failed WordPress cron job.
- It runs on a configurable interval (default: every 5 minutes).
- When a missed post is detected, Kodi Poster immediately publishes it.
- Recovered posts are logged in the Log Viewer with a timestamp and status.
This ensures your content goes live even when your hosting environment is unreliable.
